ABSTRACT
This study was conducted to analyse the value of accounting information system in organization. Specifically, the Nigeria Railway Corporation, Enugu state was selected for this study. A total of 25 respondents from the corporation constitute the sample size. The study employed the survey research design and ;the questionnaire was constructed to elicit answers from the enrolled participants. Evidence from the study reveals that there accounting information applied by the Nigeria Railway Corporation makes room for improved accountability and transparency of records. The study recommends continuous monitoring as a method of ensuring acceptable standards with the accounting system.
